Many people would agree with me that Sonic is always going to be one of those games that stand the test of time. I like Sonic due to the fact that over the many games the idea and gameplay haven’t really changed. It|s still for the most part a 2D side-scroller which is how the original Sonic Games that many people remember.
The overall look of the game also stayed partly the same where all the stages are all 2D backgrounds and the “track/path” Sonic would run on the Finish Stages which would be on top of this. However both the two elements would look identical So the layer is not noticeable. The Story has stayed the same as all the Sonic games you are challenged to go through stages to fight Docter Eggman’s Many forms/bosses that you find throughout the game.
The characters are fairly simple and this can make the character of Sonic stand out a lot and iis perhaps the reason why he is one of the biggest known names in gaming. This comes with the fact that Nintendo Owns him and most Nintendo characters get pretty well known as most Nintendo games are well made.
Many people know of the game franchise as it has gained a massive fan base and all the games whatever console they were on were amazing in their own way. My Personal favourite would have to be Majoras Mask Due to the time limit (3 days in game time). This adds a new layer of gameplay. However, I will be focusing on the original LOZ released on the Nintendo NES in February 1986.
The series centres on Link, the playable character and chief protagonist. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from Ganon, who is the principal antagonist of the series; however, other settings and antagonists have appeared in several titles. The games’ plots commonly involve a relic known as the Triforce, a set of three omnipotent golden triangles. The protagonist in each game is usually not the same incarnation of Link, but a few exceptions exist (seen above).
Since the original The Legend of Zelda was released in 1986, the series has expanded to include 19 entries on all of Nintendo’s major game consoles, as well as a number of spin-offs. An American animated TV series based on the games aired in 1989 and individual manga adaptations commissioned by Nintendo have been produced in Japan since 1997. The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo’s most prominent and successful franchises, selling over 75 million copies as of 2016.
The First LOZ game has decent graphics for when it was released but when compared to the 2017 Counterpart the graphics really have improved. And this is the same for all aspects.
CS 1.6 was made by two Modders which altered the code of Garry’s Mod to create this stand alone game, which then spawned Counter Strike Source and Counter Strike Global Offensive: Global Offensive. The Counter-Strike series is an objective-based, multiplayer first-person shooter. Two opposing teams, known as the Terrorists and the Counter Terrorists, compete in game modes to complete objectives, such as securing a location to plant or defuse a bomb and rescuing or guarding hostages.
At the end of each round, players are rewarded based on their individual performance with in-game currency to spend on more powerful weapons in subsequent rounds. Winning rounds results in more money than losing, and completing objectives such as killing enemy players gives cash bonuses. Uncooperative actions, such as killing teammates, results in a penalty. This meant that the Game is very much focused on communication with your team mates as if no Info is given you have no clue what to do.
Overall I enjoy the game due to the fact that many people who are good at the game still play it to this day even though the game was released in 2000. 1.6 Counter Strike was the first version to really gain an audience and a player base. Previous versions were bug testing and other things to make the game better.
Visually The game is pretty good for the time that it was released. Since 2000 when it was released there have been several updates to the game that improved both gameplay and the look and aesthetics of the game. 1.6 compared the newest game in the franchise is terrible as many things have been improved. 1.6 had very box like character models and the GUI was the hardest to navigate in 1.6.
The Buy menu would take up the whole screen and most of the time you would have no clue what buttons to press to get to where you needed.
Pac-Man is a Japanese arcade game released in 1980 by Namco and published in North America by Midway. The first sequels were primarily released in arcades, while later titles were released on video game consoles. The original was released on an Arcade Machine where many people because very good at the game and figured out how to get impressively high scores. I love PAC-MAN due to the fact that many people can not beat my high score.
The gameplay is very simple. The map is filled with dots and to complete a level you must collect all of the dots. The HUD is also simple as your lives are displayed at the bottom left of the screen (See below)
